I needed help feeding my family

Hi, I’m Mary Molina, the mother of LOLA SNACKS. My family went through a tough time and we were on food assistance. With 4 kids and a husband to feed, I had to improvise and grabbed what I had on hand and made simple energy bars my children could eat because of allergies, but were able to satisfy my husband's hunger. As I started packing the snack bars in lunch bags for family, more and more people reached out to me to say they loved the bars and wanted to buy them. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, that became the official start of LOLA SNACKS. I named the snack bars Lola after our daughter who is allergic to soy- an ingredient in most of the snack on the market. It was important for me to keep the bar as simple as possible, using only gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan ingredients packed full of nutrients.
