Our founder Mary, is a busy mom of 5, with kids ranging from 18 to 4 years old, her family has a lot of different skin care needs.  12 years ago when her daughter Lola's skin allergies were really bad, she made the switch over to mineral sunblocks and didn't look back. Chemical sunblocks contain one or more of the following active ingredients, oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, or octinoxate, which many believe are not good for our bodies or coral reefs.  Regardless of what sunblock you have, just be sure to lather up before heading outdoors.

Reapplying is key, so set a timer to help remember to reapply as the directions indicate.
