Vegan Caramel Sauce

  • 10 Medjool dates pitted and halved

  • Can Organic Coconut Cream (1/2 cup cream from top and 2 tbsp liquid from can)

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt

Instructions 

  • Place all the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until it smooth and creamy. You will need to scrap the sides of the food processor several times. This step may take several minutes.

  • Serve: To serve as a dip, place mixture in a microwave-safe container and microwave for 30 seconds, until warm. Serve with sliced fruit, pretzels, or cookies.

  • Save in an air tight container and enjoy as needed for 4 days. 

Less Sugar Alternative : replace maple syrup with rest of liquid from coconut cream.
